Each year in Term 1, St Mary’s and many other Catholic schools fundraise for those less fortunate than us. Our focus in Term 1 is for Project Compassion. Year 6 leaders and I are currently working together to collate ideas and choose a way we would like to fundraise for Project Compassion this term. We will announce details of our Week 9 fundraiser next week.

St Patrick’s Day

The luck of the Irish is with us this week as we celebrate St Patrick’s Feast Day tomorrow, Friday 17th of March.

Our sister school, St Patrick’s in Gundagai, celebrates their patron saint every year. If you are looking for something to do this weekend then you might enjoy a drive to Gundagai for their school fete in Carberry Park. K/1/2 from last year can attest to how fantastic the park is!
