RE: Yarrangobilly Excursion K-6 Friday 23 April 2021
All students at St Mary’s Primary School are invited to travel to the Yarrangobilly Caves early next term to participate in:
- a Aboriginal Cultural workshop with the NPWS Discovery Rangers and a
- participate in a Guided cave tour.
Details are:
- Date: Friday 23 April 2021
- Depart school: 7:30am
- Arrive back at school 4:30 pm
- Transport: Goodes Coaches, Tumut
- Cost: $10:00 per student
Students are to wear warm casual clothing (track pants, skivvy, jumpers, beanies, gloves and enclosed footwear suitable for walking through the damp caves) and ensure they have the following:
- hat
- water bottle
- packed lunch and morning tea
- and a warm coat
Covid Safety Plans will be in place for the excursion. Most importantly, parents are not to send their child on the excursion if they are presenting with cold/flu like symptoms.
There will be a small number of spare seats on the bus for parents who would like to come along for the day for $10 as well. Please email the school office.stmarysbatlow@cg.catholic.edu.au to register your interest. The seats will be allocated on a first in, first served, basis.
We are very excited that we can offer this excursion to our students. Please sign permission below and submit by Tuesday 20 April.
