OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
27 Aug 2020
Operation Christmas Childis a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. Boxes are distributed to childrenliving in vulnerable situations.
St Mary’s are once again taking part in this cause. If you would like a Christmas box let the school office know and we can send home as many boxes as you would like to fill. Boxes must be returned to school by the end of Term 3. This is an optional activity for families.

Position Vacant - School Cleaner
24 Aug 2020
We are in need of a new school cleaner. If anyone is interested in 12 hours per fortnight taking care of our little school
Please be aware of the new NSW Government guidelines that came into effect Wednesday 19 August.
Students who have been kept at home because of flu like symptoms are not permitted to return to school until we have sighted a negative COVID test. Therefore parents need to let us know the reason for the absence by emailing, phoning or completing an absentee note in Schoolzine for your child on the day of the absence.
Staff and students who present at school with even mild flu like symptoms are asked to seek a COVID test.
All negative tests results must be sighted by the principal before students are permitted to return to school.
I know the impact of this decision will present parents with difficulties as it is the runny nose season. Please know that it is a decision out of our hands and we need to comply with the guidelines.
