As you are already aware the COVID 19 situation continues to impact on our everyday movements. At St Mary’s we need to be able move to remote learning swiftly if there is a recorded transmission of Covid 19 in this area. This email is simply to help prepare for such a situation.

Our system is using MS Teams to ensure the safety of the students in an online environment and Zoom is no longer to be used for online meetings. Class teachers and students are currently using MS Teams with students.

Our mini ipads are obsolete now as they do not support MS Teams, See Saw or some features of Google Classroom.

Could you please update the information in regard to your household’s capacity to support remote learning with your own devices and also access to the internet via the form below. If you do not have devices we aim to provide hard copies/worksheets and other materials to support students in their learning.

With your continued assistance we request that students experience cold/flu like symptoms do not attend school and encourage you to follow NSW Health advice.

We learned much from our remote learning experience last year and I’m confident we can support continued learning if this should happen again.
