As we have the excitement of the Melbourne Cup today, 2/3 have continued with their work on fractions with a Melbourne Cup theme. We split the whole collection of 24 horses into halves, quarters and eighths, finding out how many horses into each part. 

We then split the jockey silks into quarters or eighths and decorated with the jockeys colours. We wonder which horses will win...?
