2/3 have been doing so many different types of hands on learning activities about fractions in the last week. We have been splitting collections of counters into halves and quarters, as well as finding less than half and more than half. We also used unifix cubes to create towers, halved them, built one and a half towers and even two towers, based on our whole of one.  Who would have thought fractions could be so fun?
