Tomorrow is St Mary’s Feast Day. This is normally one of the most important days on our school calendar, as St Mary is the patron saint of our school. I had planned a beautiful Mass and special lunch for us to celebrate together as a community, but unfortunately that is not meant to be. I hope that we may still be able to have a belated celebration in Term 4, when we are able to be together again.

In the meantime, it is important that we commemorate St Mary’s feast day together virtually. I have prepared a whole school prayer and activity for your children to participate in tomorrow, which your class teacher will provide the details of in their daily outline. In their paper pack I have provided a St Mary’s prayer card which they are being asked to colour and cut out and then place it in the sacred space your child has created at home.

I would LOVE if you could please send a photo of your child/ren with their St Mary’s prayer card in their prayer space to me (melissa.hotham@cg.catholic.edu.au).
