We thank you for the call to teach and lead;

We thank you for the honour to share our knowledge and skill;

We thank you for the precious opportunity that lies before us each new day.

Come and bless us;

Help us to rejoice in the students whom you have entrusted to our care.

Help us to do more than teach;

Help us to guide and mentor these wonderful works of art, to learn, to discover, to imagine and to dream.

May we be messengers of knowledge, learning, possibilities and wonder -

All in the spirit of your marvelous love and mercy.

Bless us, and give us the energy, courage and insight that we need.
