First Communion

On Sunday, we joined with Nace, Ethan and Thomas to celebrate their First Holy Communion. Thank you to Father Namora for presiding over Mass for us. And a special thank you to Kerrie Ambrose for making the beautiful, individual celebration cakes.

I would like to congratulate the boys on receiving this special Sacrament and hope you join with me in praying for them.

All Saints Day - 1st November

All Saints Day is a special day within the Catholic Church that is dedicated to honor and commemorate the saints.

Let  us  pray  that  God  will  open  our  eyes  and  hearts  to serving  Jesus  in  each  other.    May  our  care  for  one another  be  a  sign  of  the  oneness  we  share  in  Christ with  all  the  saints.    We  pray  to  the  Lord…Amen

All Souls Day - 2nd November

Next week we will be commemorating All Souls Day by creating a memorial wall in the front office for friends and family who have died. Students are asked to bring a photo (or email to Mrs Hotham to print), draw a picture or bring in a special item to place on the memorial wall by Friday this week please. 

The central focus is to remember the loved one’s life & the light they brought to the child and to others. Some questions you could ask to prompt sharing might be: How does your loved one who passed still live on in your life? How did your loved one make you feel? How can you honor the memory of your loved one?
