Aiden’s Baptism

This weekend one of our students Aiden, will receive the sacrament of Baptism at St Mary’s Church.

Baptism is the introduction of a person into the Church community. We proclaim our faith in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we promise to avoid evil and to do good.

All are invited to join us at Mass on Sunday at 8:30am, to celebrate with Aiden and his family, on this special occasion.

Christmas Hamper Appeal

Hamper_appeal.pngFamilies are invited to please give generously to our St Vincent De Paul Christmas Hampers with donations of non-perishable food goods. Baskets are located in classrooms for students to place their items into. Your kindness can make a difference to people in need in our community this Christmas.

Socktober

Year 3/4 have been learning about Socktober for Mission Month in their R.E Conceptual Inquiry unit. 

Socktober for Mission Month encourages us to engage with mission for children by using our heads to enquire about the reality of the world around us, using our hearts to feel empathy for those in situations of great need, and using our hands to take action for them in whatever way we are able.

Last Friday 3/4 organised a ‘Crazy Sock Day’ for the school, to raise awareness of Catholic Mission. Thank you for your generous donations that will be sent to Catholic Mission.
