What wonderful spring weather we have had this week. The students have made the most of the sunshine enjoying outside play at recess and lunchtime with their friends! We have had a busy start to term and week 3 will involve lots of activity. 

Next week, our Book Fair will commence and our Learning Journey open classrooms on Tuesday. Next Thursday students are invited to wear their favourite socks, sports socks or crazy socks as part of Socktober! Socktober for Catholic Mission Month helps to raise funds and awareness to support children from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds in many countries around the world. Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation for this day.

On Friday K-2 will lead our “All Saints Day” Mass at 12 noon. All parents, Grandparents and carers are invited to join us for this special day of Holy obligation commemorating all of our saints of the Church.  

The month of October is also dedicated to the Holy Rosary. It was instituted to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection she gives the Church in answer to praying the Rosary.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you;

and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
