LIBRARY NEWS
In library this term we are reading the short listed books from the Children's Book Council of Australia in readiness for Book Week.
Years 5 and 6 read 'Chalk Boy' by Margaret Wild and drew their own illustrations in chalk.
Years 2,3,4 read the book titled 'The Dress Up Box' by Patrick Guest and had fun trying on a range of costumes both in library time and during their lunch break.
Don't forget to get your costume readyfor the Book Week Parade Friday 23 August, 9 - 10am. All invited for a fun morning.
A big thank you to families for supporting Bookclub, the school receives books from the commission. Year 2 are seen below with the new arrivals.
