On Friday our school was filled with amazing book characters to celebrate Book Week. The day commenced with a parade where staff and many students dressed in Super Hero outfits highlighting the theme ‘Reading Is My Secret Power’. There were so many wonderful costumes this year - many homemade, that highlighted the varied range of books the students are enjoying reading. 

After the parade the students split into multi -age groups to play Book Trivia. They had fun working together to name book titles, characters, authors and deduce book titles from cropped images of book covers. 

Activities finished with classes viewing the winning books from the short listed books from CBCA and borrowing library books.
