I wish all our students a wonderful break. I hope families have a chance to step away from school routines and recharge. There have been many students unwell over the course of Term 2 and a school break will hopefully settle coughs and colds. As I type this report the sun is shining outside. I pray that it sticks around for all of us to enjoy some outside time.
Have a lovely week everyone, keep well and stay safe.

3/4 Class Mass
This Wednesday Year 3/4 will lead us in Mass at 10am. All parents/family and friends are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there.
Vinnies (St Vincent De Paul) Winter Appeal
I am overwhelmed by the generous donations from families for our Winter Woollies day. Our front foyer is overflowing. Thank you so very much for supporting this wonderful cause and helping those in desperate need during this particularly difficult Winter.
The children enjoyed their Winter Woollies Day wearing their snuggly clothes to school and a warm milo at recess.

I have my Dad visiting from Western Australia after 2 long Covid years so there will be lots of family time and tobogganing in the snow.
I hope you all have a happy and safe winter break.
I look forward to seeing you in Term 3!

St Mary's, Batlow will be operating with minimal supervision on Thursday. We will only have a limited number of staff onsite, therefore I am requesting that you make alternative arrangements for your children where possible.
Regular teaching and learning programs will be impacted on the day.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BOXES
St Mary's are participating in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Box this year. This is an optional activity. Boxes are available from the office to take home and fill and return with $10 to cover shipping by early September for any families wishing to take part.
Operation Christmas Child is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoe boxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. We collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations.
