Today, Yr 6 held their St Vinnie's fundraiser! Thank you for your support with a gold coin donation and other items to assist people in need. We have quite a collection to take to St Vinnnie's. Our students really enjoyed sporting their favourite ' beanie' and sipping a hot chocolate at recess, all for a good cause!
Reports
Semester One reports will be released via Compass Parent portal tomorrow afternoon. Please read this report and ensure that you have booked in for a parent/ teacher conference which are being offered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon next week. Bookings can be made through the Parent Portal and teachers will be talking to the report.
Athletics
Congratulations to our Western Region team who competed in Tumut last Friday. Stand out performances from Harley Smith (5th in 100m) Jack Shang (8th in 200m) and Phillip Quarmby (8th in 800m) . Field event results showed consistent results. Thanks to Ms Buckmaster and Mr Lawson for their time and thank you to parents who were able to transport and be there in support. By all reports it was a brilliant day!
Have a lovely week everyone.
Jannine
After many weeks of preparation, Jessica and Theo are looking forward to taking the next step in their faith journey next Thursday 29th June where they will receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.
Mass will be presented at 12pm by themselves and their fellow classmates in Year 3/4. It will be a lovely celebration surrounded by their family and friends.
We will join together for lunch and perhaps a slice of cake afterwards. All are welcome to join in the celebration.
We wish Jessica and Theo many blessings for their special day.
St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal fundraiser
‘Best Beanies’ was a great success today. Our beanies and hot chocolate kept us very warm on this cold and wet day! Thank you to our Year 6 leaders for hosting the day.
Thank you to all the families who donated to a worthy cause allowing those who are less fortunate than us to receive the gift of warmth during this very cold winter. A little goes a long way, so thank you.
Please enjoy some of the pictures from today in our newsletter.
Have a lovely week.
