Dear Parents,
Our Canberra Excursion was fabulous last week. Our students were engaged, and happy learners. What was the highlight? Depends on who you ask because so many activities were high interest. So many presenters congratulated our students on their behaviour. Goodes Buses were brilliant to work with yet again! A big thank you to Matt Flenley and Vicki Bye for their support.
Awards Evening
Last Monday evening was a celebration of our students efforts and achievements for the 2023 school year. Thank you to all parents, grandparents and friends for coming along. It is always a wonderful evening.
Carols by Candlelight
Tonight we gather again at the Batlow RSL Club for Rotary Carols by Candlelight. Could all children meet teachers in the auditorium at 5:50pm in full school uniform. Students may wish to wear Christmas hats, antlers etc. After St Mary’s has performed their three songs students need to sit with their parents for the remainder of the evening.
Semester Two Reports
Tomorrow we will release Semester Two reports via Compass. Please contact us if you have difficulty accessing your child’s reports. This report will have grading and also include a class teacher comment. Parents may request a parent teacher interview next week if they would like to discuss any aspect of the report. Please contact class teachers via email or use the school office email to arrange an appointment.
Have a lovely week everyone.

A time for Thanksgiving
Today we farewelled our Year 6 leaders Morgan, Lacey and Nace in a special Mass with family and friends. A morning tea followed and it was wonderful to spend the time remembering and giving thanks for the 7 years of primary school they have had at St Mary’s.
I remember when they began Kindergarten and now they are off on their high school adventure. Where does the time go?!! We wish them all the best on their journey.
As part of our Mass we brought our baskets forward as an offering of Thanksgiving. They were full to the brim and I thank all of our families who contributed. Your kind donations will contribute to making someone’s Christmas a little more special this year.

Have a lovely week.
