A reminder to our families that the last day for students is today. Well done students! Staff will be at different locations in the Archdiocese completing professional learning tomorrow.
Year 5/6 Social Justice
I want to acknowledge the work of Miss Collins and our Year 5/6 class for their ‘Social Justice Lunches’. An important part of our Religious Education learning is the Christian praxis of responding to the needs of others in our world. These lunches were a great opportunity for students to authentically respond to their learnings and their effort (and Miss Collins’ organisation) is to be commended. The contribution of students and families will be finalised by our students early next term.
The Journey of the School Year
As we come to the end of another term, it’s a good time to reflect on the journey we’ve shared together. Each term brings new experiences, challenges, and achievements, and I am immensely proud of the hard work and dedication from everyone in our school community.
The words from Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” remind us that no matter where our journey takes us, there is always guidance and light along the way. Whether in our learning, friendships, or personal growth, these moments guide us forward.
Thank you for your continued support, and I wish you all a well-deserved and restful break.
Ryan
