The term is almost at an end, and what a busy term it has been! Next Thursday, during Holy Week, students will participate in a Stations of the Cross activity led by our Year 5 and 6 students. We will then share a meal as a school. This meal will be provided, which may mean students will not need as much for lunch as usual!
Some of our students have begun preparing for their sacraments, which will be celebrated in a school Mass next term. Please keep these students in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare for this special time.
You would have received some raffle tickets this week for our Easter Raffle. Tickets are $1 each and all money raised will go towards our Easter Project Compassion appeal. Thank you for your support! Tickets will also be sold at school this Friday. Could all tickets please be returned by next Wednesday to be drawn next Thursday.
I would like to close with a prayer for our fourth week of Lent. This week the message for Lent is forgiveness.

Being safe online
Whether you’re working, learning, playing or scrolling – the internet is a huge part of life. It opens a world of opportunities, but also comes with risks, especially for young people and other at-risk groups.
Let's look at the numbers that remind us why online safety is so important.
Safer Gaming online
Many young people enjoy online gaming, from simple puzzle-based play through to strategic multiplayer games and creating their own virtual worlds.
Gaming can help improve your child’s coordination, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as build social skills through online interactivity with other players. Games can also be a great way to connect with your child and strengthen family relationships. But it’s also important to understand what can go wrong and how to keep your child safe.
In short:
- Online gaming has a range of benefits for children and young people and can help them to develop important skills.
- You can support your child and help them manage time online by empowering them and being involved when they play.
- Gaming can expose young players to risks like cyberbullying and sexual grooming.
Some games simulate or encourage gambling through the spending of real money or incentives such as tokens and points.
