As we approach the middle of the term, it is a good opportunity to pause and reflect on the growth of our students in so many areas. This reflection isn’t just about the past few weeks, but the whole year so far. I often speak about how proud we are of our students—and it is something that can never be overstated. Their achievements, both big and small, are worth celebrating. We continue to encourage all our students to keep striving to be their best in every aspect of school life, even as the busyness of the term begins to make them a little tired!
Sacrament of Confirmation
Congratulations to Theo and Mackenzie, who will be participating in the Sacrament of Confirmation at Tumut Parish this Sunday at 10:00am. We are very proud of their commitment throughout their preparation and wish them, their families, and the other candidates a joyful and faith-filled experience as they celebrate this special occasion together.
Book Week Parade
We warmly invite parents, carers, and younger siblings to join us for our Book Week Parade under the weather shed at 9:00am. This year’s theme, “Book an Adventure,” is a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate stories, imagination, and creativity through their costumes. Students will visit Batlow MPS to showcase their outfits to the residents. A special thank you to Mrs Murray for her effort and contribution in preparing for this much-loved day in our school calendar.
Welcome Mrs Oberholzer
Next week we look forward to welcoming Mrs Oberholzer to our school community. She will be with us for the remainder of the term, taking on Mrs Murray’s role in the Library and in our learning spaces. We are excited to have her on board and know she will be a wonderful addition to our staff team.
Thank you to Mrs Dumbrell
We thank Mrs Dumbrell for sharing with our Community Council at Monday night’s meeting about her pilgrimage to Italy and Vatican City during the Term Two break. It was wonderful to hear about the profound impact this experience has had on her. Earlier this term, Mrs Dumbrell also shared her reflection with the other Religious Education Coordinators in the Canberra-Goulburn Archdiocese. She is very happy to share her experience further with anyone who may be interested.
Enjoy the remainder of the week!
